350 lbs

Seems like a good chance to get some preseason shooting practice on that hog

A lot of these Texas guys will tell you pigs don’t hit 300# often. Everyone claims they have one on camera until they hit the scale.

I’m guilty of it also. I guessed the pig at 230-250

last year one about that size was killed at our camp went right at 200lbs.
I'd say 200-225lbs.

I’m gonna say pushing 300 then, it’s hard to tell where its standing relative to the drum but that’s a big pig.

225 max. not anywhere near the 300lb mark. When you see one over 300lbs you know it. They look disproportional and huge. This one doe not fit that bill. We take several boar this size every year. Just a good mature boar feral is all.

Did he eat the feeder too. That pig was hungry.

I killed this one in Centreville earlier this year. I'm 5'10" 240. I thought this thing was HUGE but the scale only said 220. Plus she had 8 babies in her.

Correct. Texas Parks and Widlife actually did a study where they weighed several pigs and then had people guess their weights after looking at a picture or two from a game camera perspective. Most people were 50+ pounds over on their guesses.

That is a big sized pig in the OP, but I’m still gonna guess around 200-225.

185-200. People severely over estimate pig weights. Thats a small size protein feeder and spouts are very low to the ground making he pig seem much larger than it is.

The boar is dead. Killed him yesterday. Will add pics of hanging and scale later.

Imgur is down so can’t load the pics
