They cracking down on them electric bicycles riding on Non- Maintained trails.

Maintain definition is in the pamphlet-
Free of trees, routinely mowed, disced, or bush hogged, free of obstructions.

What’s the problem with a trailer? I’m so glad we own property and don’t have to deal with all those rules.

You added the word routinely to it.

Adding that word can do a lot as far as how it's interpreted. Plenty of law enforcement guys like to do that sort of thing hoping that the guy they're talking to doesn't know any better.

God, I would love to find out where you hunt. I would go find a 1970 Bultaco 2-stroke with a straight pipe and run the gas out of it riding circles around your stand.

Dude your guess is as good as mine. So I’m fortunate enough to hunt private and public, I hunt Tensas because I like the trees and the challenges.

Regarding this specific situation… the baw had what looked to be a wave runner trailer pulling behind his quad. He parked it by the slough that cuts through the middle of the woods, parallel to the north trail. Where he was parked was at the end of the trail, by the sign that denotes that.

Further past the sign the trail keeps going to what leads to a cut of private land. All back there there are boats locked up to trees that the private land guys use after the water rises and they can’t get their side by sides across. The other day when I talked to the GW and he was looking for the guy, the private land guys had parked their side by sides by the creek (those side by sides tear up the trails WAY worse than that trailer fwiw) and they had to boat across. My best guess is the private land guys were the ones that called and complained, mainly because they know he’s most likely hunting their perimeter.

In my long ago experience in Tensas, I didnt see any way one could know if one was mowed, disced, or bush hogged routinely. Especially this time of year.

Seems they would just mark the ones you can and cant go on versus leave it up to you to ponder.

Dude hunts off non-maintained trails to keep you and your kind away.

The warden? Mid-50s white baw with glasses and a mustache. Really nice.

Isn't that the baw who got shot in the head? Didn't know he was back at work...

As for JC, he is a complete and unnecessary dickhead. His dad wasn't very cool either. He used to try to catch us roosting woodies way back when we allegedly did such things. Couldn't quite do it.

Yes Wheeler is the one that got shot in the head. Been back at work for a while now and a notorious a-hole.
