In the market for a new zero-turn mower and have narrowed it down between these two brands. The two models I am looking at our the Gravely ZT HD 44" and the Exmark Radius E-Series 44". The mower will be used to cut a 1.5 acre lot. Looking for opinions on the two or any experiences with the 2 brands. Thanks

I have a HD 48" and no complaints. Only used a Exmark 15 years ago to cut the high school baseball field from time to time.

I have had a HD 52 for four years with zero issues. I mow 2 acres at least once a week, sometimes twice, while the grass is growing. So far it has been a great mower and I haven’t been easy on it.

had issues with gravely HD 60" , but i probably needed a heavier duty commercial mower for what i was doing (~5 acres of country yard), just traded it in on a John Deere z930m, so far so good

I feel like gravely gets business from the name based off their old multi head units. I’m an ex mark guy. But for a 1 1/2 acre machine you are going to get 20+ years with proper maintenance with either. I’m running an ex mark walk behind with jungle wheels on my almost acre that’s 20 years old.

I have a Gravely pro turn. Good mower and glad I purchased it for the price.

I find exmark to be be a better brand though.

I just went through the same thing. I was looking at Exmark, Toro, and Gravely. Settled on the Gravely ZT HD 52 yesterday. I made the decision because of the ones I was looking at, the Gravely had the better hydraulics(ZT 3100 vs ZT2800), better warranty(4 year/500hrs vs 3 year/300hrs), and the Kawasaki engine while Toro and Exmark only offered their branded Chinese engines.
