I missed the damn front at our camp but big bucks falling all over. ( I missed a good one. No excuse just rushed the shoot like a child) Be careful don’t get wet but geaux.
Also, take a coffee can or something and pour in estrus and water then but a sterno can or something under it and put it upwind if you and then use the can etc and make bleeps every 10 minutes. Follow with grunt then snort wheeze. Rattle every 30 minutes.
If they are around they will come. Don’t be afraid call them to you

I’m two hrs away from the ranch 
Left my house at 10:45 stopped by ULL to watch my sister graduate and should be pulling in about 9:15.
Last time I was two hrs away my brother who lives an hr away sent me a pic saying he shot the buck I was on my way down to hunt.

I hunted 6:15 am - 9:50 AM THEN 3:45 PM - DARK
Total deer seen 13
9 morning 2 spikes rest does
4 evening 1 spike/3 pt rest does
Other that not seeing a big buck or killing today was one of the best days ever for me.
rarely do you see 13 deer in one day in Lincoln Parish, we are usually lucky if we see one. May be something to this.
