GMC Sierra dash cover

I like most ppl with GMC Sierra or Silverado 07-13 have a badly cracked up dashboard. I have already replaced the vent cover section. But the bigger piece closer to the driver is all cracked up and rattling/squeaking. I need advice on whether I should get an aftermarket glue on cap/cover - rigid. Or go with the ol' school carpet type covers? Bare in mind I also want to dampen some of the rattles/squeaks. Thanks Baws.

My dad put on the glue on one a couple years ago before he sold that truck. It looked fine and I would prefer that one over than the other options. It was easy to put on and seems like a good option, IMO

I got the DashSkin. Easy to install. I used 2 tubes of adhesive and threw a couple bags of lawn fertilizer on it over night. There are some pretty good installation videos out there as well.

I just laid two bags of lawn fertilizer on mine.
No one ever notices the cracks now.
