umm yeah...I did fix it...but you just go ahead and help promote the media and liberal anti-gun agenda.

it's a state of mind...one day you may "get it"

stupid is using the terminology that makes everyone feel we are only have our firearms to use as weapons...not as shooting hobbyists or hunters...most will never ever use their firearm to actually shoot someone in self defense i.e. as a "weapon"

so why call it as such and play into their hands?

from Webster
quote:

weap·on
noun \'we-p?n\

: something (such as a gun, knife, club, or bomb) that is used for fighting or attacking someone or for defending yourself when someone is attacking you
Full Definition of WEAPON
1
: something (as a club, knife, or gun) used to injure, defeat, or destroy
2
: a means of contending against another

so who have you injured or destroyed other than your credibility?

me too...I'd prefer to have equal amounts of Brass, gun powder and primers as well...

Except that I've always got considerably more brass. If only I could pick up the other components off the gun range floor.

And Hammer, 10mm = .401" and .40 S&W = .401". The bullets are the same diameter. The case is where they differ.

1. Over the years, boating accidents notwithstanding, I have owned quite a few firearms. Some of them were indeed weapons.

2. I have a couple of firearms that are used almost exclusively to shoot sporting clays. Those are not weapons.

3. I know people with highly accurate handguns that are used strictly for competition (punching holes in paper). Those are not generally considered to be weapons either -- although they (and the shotguns mentioned above) could serve in that role if necessary.

4. However, every Glock I have ever owned, and every M&P, and every Kahr, and every snub-nosed revolver is//was a weapon. They are//were carried for one purpose -- shooting animals or people who are trying to cause death or great bodily harm to me, or to a family member.

These self-defense handguns were designed and made for that singular purpose. None is really sufficiently accurate to use in target competition. But all are considered sufficiently reliable (clean or dirty) to enable a person to effectively engage those who would seek to kill or severely harm him or a member of his family.

so you are saying you are like the third member of the OB to have actually used a weapon?

I read where some folks fired 40cal out of a 10mm glock barrel. Don't think I would try that. But don't think they lost fingers....yet.
