Did all that as well. It's only in my new bed and only on a hand full of tomatoes. My other beds are fine. I bought some blossom Rot spray this morning and will try it out.

Powdered milk, make sure you bury it Bc it will stink if it’s on top in a big pile.

I like that setup.

I noticed something eating my pepper plant leaves. Is there an easy solution to stopping that, or should I not worry?

I think it's slugs or something at night. Just small holes on a lot of leaves.

Very well could be slugs. They will decimate an entire plant. Go buy Slugo. It's a dry pellet you sprinkle around the plants. Not harmful to pets.

I bought a $4 bag of gypsum from Home Depot. Mix two handfuls 2 gallons of water. Take a solo cup and give each plant 3-4 cups each. I also added epsom salt to make them happier as well. The gypsum doesn't effect the soil ph much

We finally caught a small rain last night should help kick things back up. Going to be picking some cucumber, squash, zucchini, hot banana pepper and tomatoes today.

Anyone stuck some aspirin pills around their plants or mixed them in with water to spray on the plants this year? Mainly looking to boost my pepper plants as they’re the only ones not doing as well as my others. I stuck a few around my tomatoes about a month or better ago and it seemed to boost them. Heard you can also use aspirin on peppers and eggplants.

I haven't, but I'm curious as to the results.

Looks like my tomato plants may ride out this weekend on the porch .

I've pulled a bunch of cucumbers and jalapenos. My bellpeppers are loaded.

Anyone else have super fat cucumbers? I'm talking 4" in diameter?

I had about 6 creole tomatoes split on me after the rain last weekend. Pulled them and need to stew them up and can them before they go south. FYI, I found a 3' cotton mouth hanging out behind one of my tomato plants.

My cucumbers still have not grown so I need to figure it out.

Re: my post above; do you guys think it would be best to put all of my potted plants on the porch this weekend? I don't guess 2-3 days without sun would be terrible for them in comparison to 2-3 days with 4" of rain.

My cucumbers really took off at the beginning of last week. The vines have grown about 2' since then and are flowering well. No female flowers yet.

My garden overall is doing well. About to harvest my potatoes. My broccoli is flowering and a few heads are almost ready to harvest. My different pepper plants are doing well except the tomatillos plants. They are super healthy, lots of flowers, but they aren't producing any peppers. I've almost harvested all of my lettuce. I had so much that I was giving it away to neighbors. The kale grew well that I'm probably going to dedicate one the boxes to kale for the fall. My tomato plants are decent except I'm still battling caterpillars. It started off with a bunch of small ones. Sprayed thuricide, but it didn't seem to help much and then two days ago I found two big hornworm caterpillars destroying my plants. May they rest in peace. Also one of my plants had blossom rot so I gave them all a dose of calcium and epsom salt.

Damn hornworm

My garden was late taking off. Pumpkin plants, watermelon, and cantaloupe plants are growing by leaps and bounds. My tomato plants, creole, better boys, big boys, and Cherokee purple are really starting to fruit out. Squash and zucchini should be ready to start picking in a week or so, strawberries are getting hammered by the birds, lastly my pole beans are starting to flower.

Edited to add my corn burned up. Kroger it is for corn

I had a few army worms. Couple rounds of thuricide and I haven’t seen any since. Luckily I haven’t seen any hornworms either.

Shake the plants lightly are get a small brush and transfer pollen to different buds. Possible they just aren't pollinating. The pepper palnts with the branches on the ground could be caterpillars. I did have a hornworm one time tear up my bell pepper plant and didn't even touch the tomatoe plants.

Pillage, when you applied the thuricide, did you just spray the top side of the leaves, bottom side, or just sprayed them in general. About to do second round of thuricide.
