Just to clarify, if I buy my wife a lifetime license this month it covers fishing and all hunting minus fed stamps for $500?

Yes covers all state activities. State duck stamp also.

Doesn’t include fed duck stamp or
Any other fed things

I submitted the app for my kids on may 25 and 26.

They called today for payment. But only called for the second one. I asked the lady and she had to pull the first one. So I paid for both. No idea how long it takes now, but keep your phones on if you submitted recently. I thought someone said 7-8 weeks so I wasn't expecting a phone call.

I wouldn't worry. Just seems they go through the emails randomly. They called about the second one submitted after the first, I just happened to ask about the first. Also, the lady did say their email/printing is painfully slow. We must've had like 5 minutes of awkward silence while she printed the second one.

Is it a 225 area code?
I submitted 5/23 for my 5 month old and haven’t gotten a call for payment.

Pretty sure the price changed June 1st.
I sent in all of the info via email, and word is if you sent in your application prior to June 1st you get the old price.

Yes, 225, popped up on my phone as "State of LA" though.

I sent in all the paperwork for my children on 5/27 and got an email the next day or so saying they received the paperwork and all applications would be assessed fees based on the date submitted.

I think youll be fine. I got a response to one email and nothing on the second one. The second one is what they called about.

Just received both licenses in the mail yesterday. I got lucky for once. Guess I'll have to take them hunting/fishing now.

Don't know if the 5 month old is quite ready yet. Lol

I just read that new hunting and fishing licenses are good for 365 days and don’t automatically expire in June 30.

Also a reminder to folks who have older kids with lifetime license and no hard copy. Before changes, all they used to send was paperwork saying you’ll get card once kid gets hunter safety. Now with the youth hunting license, need to have actual license.

I sent email to LDWF asking to send me hard copy. I will report back to see what they say.
