How much do you think a 2014 Yamaha 40 4 Stroke, 16’ Alweld boat and aluminum trailer would be worth? Boat, motor and trailer are in great shape. The motor has less than 100 hours on it. Boat has absolutely nothing in it but a rear bench seat and front deck.
I am not selling this. Looking at buying it and just want to get some opinions. Thanks.

By Alweld do you mean the brand or do you mean just all welded, because I hear boats called that all the time that are not the brand.
It really depends honestly, some of it is your location. I saw a 1654 this winter I’m kicking myself over not buying it was similar year with nice mats and a nice poling platform but with a 25hp tiller and $4,000.
Brand, steering wheel set up or tiller, your location, type of trailer, etc. all matter. I also wouldn’t be afraid to make an offer with visible cash in hand. I’d say anywhere from $5,000-8,000.

My buddy just bought a 16 alweld with a 2014 40 Honda on it for 5k. It was decked out with a bunch of extras too and super clean. It was on sportsman.

Alweld is the brand.
I’m in New Orleans.
Tiller handle set up. It’s very basic but very clean and well taken care of.
Seller is asking $6500.

Electric start or manual engine? Brand new hull, electric tiller motor, and alum trailer will cost you $13000 to $14000. Does the boat have a factory installed floor or exposed ribs?
