umad bro?

a friend is someone you hang out with, do stuff with etc...

my fault...taking someone out in your boat to fish and drink and have a good time is neither hanging out nor spending time with them.

quote:

Dude first off...frick You This isn't the Rant. No, the other gets it. No one wants to have to pay for everything, but I don't want to fish alone either. And no, a friend is someone you hang out with, do stuff with etc... This guy just works for me, we don't hang out. Again I want to fish, but not alone, so frick you with that weak shite.

You're right, the way you worded it makes you sound less desperate for friends and not at all like a prick. Good luck!

Don't forget the bacon/egg sammich from Cajun Fastmart.

This time last year I killed the flounder in and near the old settlement canal on the south side of West Cove. Caught them on rat-l-traps. Strange.

Fishing started out slow.
Had 10 trout for 10am.
Had 23 for 3pm.
At 3:15 they went freaking crazy.
Just like fishing under birds except no birds.
Caught 20 trout between 2-3 lbs in about 10 minutes.
That was the best 10 minutes ever in my life

Going back in the AM.
We are fishing North Big lake .
Thanks for all the clues, you guys rock

BTW Catching everything on Chartreuse Jerk baits (3½ inches) and Norton Sand Eels white/chartreuse.

Will report back tomorrow.

And yes I have no friends

I'm assuming you're in Turner's Bay? This time of the year I have always done very good in West Cove.

Yes
I go to West Cove when the trout move south.
As long as the drought is here they shouldn't move south until I start Bass fishing in March.

I barely burn 2 gallons of gas a day. I love it.

Worker bailed.
My brother is 30 minutes late.
I need some new fishing partners.

We left the trout biting yesterday.
Same east wind hopefully the trout are in the same spot waiting to ride in my boat.

Reports to follow.

I thought about knitting.

Limited but it took all day.
Nice trout mixed in with small ones.

Hooked something this morning and got it to the boat, but couldn't hold it on while my brother fumbled with the net.

Looked like it was about 20 lbs. Had a big round nose and huge side fins.
Thought it was a stingray at first because of the large fins, but when it straightened up i could see it was a fish I've never seen before.

Had 2 chicks casting from the bank and catching trash fish. I offered them some trout and they accepted.

Feels good to give back.
Whatever that means

Hope you did well today, I passed due to the rain. Think I will make a pass by the docks tonight after the game.

Got sprinkled on.

Caught our 3 limits by 12:45.
Had 2 over 3 lbs.
Caught a few trolling, although its not really fishing it's fun to watch the pole bend while in the rod holder.

All in all a good 3 days off fishing.

And I may not limit out by 8AM but honestly who cares to go fishing for an hour then leave?
If they need fish that bad I'll give them some of mine.

The excitement to me is working hard to catch them and having fun with friends.

Peace out until next weekends fishing trip.

Never caught a Ling but was told it looked like a catfish.

This fish was short. compact and silver or white.

I got a great look at it since the water was clear enough to see 3 feet down, it was only a foot under water.

I'm positive it wasn't a Drum, nose/front of the head was pronounced, like this

In fact the head and front fins looked a lot like this but the body was short and fat.
