I have the hoodie and the bottoms. I liked the hoodie so much I bought it in a solid. Probably my favorite general cold weather piece of clothing.

Duck hunting in marsh I wear them if it’s below 50 depending on how wet it feels. Furnace bottom, merino socks, breathable waders. Light merino top, furnace hoodie, windproof vest if it’s blowing, and a shell if it’s under 45 degrees. Only time I ever really feel a chill is on boat ride out and that goes away quick once I start moving around.

Deer hunting, pretty much same deal. Just sub bibs for waders and a heavier jacket for longer sits.

Its good stuff. The zip off thing is pretty cool. Worth the cost? No, I dont think so. I have some midway brand heavyweight wool base layer that I got on sale for pretty cheap and I wear them as much or more than the first lite stuff. I only favor the furnace when im hunting out west or all day and will actually appreciate the zip off feature.

Now if you want to REALLY layer up properly...

dont laugh... it works

I have a furnace top and a kiln bottom. Furnace is literally a furnace I hardly ever wear it. It’s my 30deg sitting and not walking base layer anything warmer and it’s to warm.

I’ve got the kiln and furnace tops and bottoms. I layer up for temps like we see coming and can work fine in low 20-18 degrees. I can sit fine in 45-35 degree but that depends on my mood.

It’s expensive but I’m glad I have it. I also have a pair with the zip offs and those are nice if you’re moving around all morning as it warms up.

I bout their alpine work gloves this year and I love them. It’s nice to have a work glove that keeps you warm in sub freezing Lousiana cold.

My problem is socks. I can’t find a good sock.
