Few bulls for RDB

I gave up. Didn't see anyone around me hook a bull. Out of 600+ entered today only 24 bullreds hsve been brought in so far. Sad

No reds, but I caught a fair share of hardheads!

They were all over the marsh two weeks ago. In coup Abel folks were catch 10-15 in just few hrs on falling tide.

Off topic. I just wanted to post a picture from this morning. First picture I've taken of the kayak rigged. First time wade fishing with the kayak too. No bulls here either. I did catch the biggest croaker I've ever caught/seen though.

First time I've been there was today. It was ok. Fishing was slow. Almost got run over by sheriff deputies in an air boat. I was waving rods and hollering. They were scooting across the grass on one of the islands and popped out 10 feet from me. Scared the shite out of me. Then the motherfrickers blasted me with wind and water.
So other than that, I like it ok. The launch is nice.

I've never fished open water in my yak. always tight marsh ponds so I'd have no idea what to do

I went straight out to the islands today. Fished it just like I do the marsh for the most part. All flounder today. Didn't see much bait fish out there. I'll probably give it another try.
