Falcon Rods Coastal vs Coastal Clearwater

Do any of you guys have experience with the Falcon Coastal and Coastal Clear water series rods?
A buddy has the Coastal "Redfish Caster" which is listed as a 7' MH. He loves it as his go to red rod but says its a great 2nd option for specks even though its a MH Action.
I'm split between this and the Clearwater "Spoon and plug" 6'10" MH. I don't specifically target 27" plus bull reds for what its worth. So I think either rod will fit the bill as far as what size fish I'm after. I'm just curious if the clearwater has any known advantages for being $40 more.
TIA

I have a 7’ MH spinning Falcon Coastal. I’ve had zero issues hauling in everything from specs to slot reds. Rods got a lot of arse behind it

I have this exact rod but never use it. I use all Medium Action rods out of my kayak.

I used to fish the Falcon Coastal rods. Great little rod for the money. I don't remember what specific model it was but I think it was 7' Medium.

I have a Falcon Coastal. It’s been a solid rod for a few years now. No complaints.

I've got two Falcon Coastals, I love them. I have a medium and MH, boat have been great rods for the money.
FWIW, looks like you can pick one up on sale from Bass Pro right now for $68

I have a falcon coastal "wade fisherman" 6'6 M and a coastal clearwater "ultimate trout" 6'7 ML. Both are good rods. I personally feel like the coastal clearwater is a little lighter and has a little more sensitive tip. The guides are also smaller on the clearwater.
If you are mainly going to use it as a red fish rod I would just get the coastal. That slightly more sensitive tip isn't going to make a difference.

Falcon started building their rods in China instead of the US a couple of years ago. Obviously the consistency of the product has dipped. If you look at some of their discounted rods on their site, there are some older rods, which are on sale and better made.

I fish Falcon Coastal XG exclusively, Probably have 15, both 7’ M baitcaster and and spinning rods. Never had one break while fighting a fish and have landed Jacks and +35” Reds many times.
Solid rod for $80, I put the money in the reel, not the rod.
Gonna be bummed when they stop making them, still have them at Bowie’s, Superior Tackle and Amazon for now.

I do all my marsh fishing with Falcon 7' Medium rods. Have a combination of HD and Coastal. Great rods for the money. I buy them directly from Falcon's website.

Are there plans to discontinue this line or do you mean just in the future?

i've always liked Falcon for the slim and tight base it has around the handle. I have a lowrider though, but has done me fine in the surf for 20 years running.

When Falcon was American made it was the cats meow.
Now it is a fair rod just not the same.
I have some old lowrider blanks that I love and rebuild once the guides go bad.
