I stumbled across this company who creates jig heads and I really like their philosophy on having a bigger eye- just curious to see if anyone uses these? Looks like you can only order online as I’ve looked at academy and other options and don’t see them. Here’s their website...

I’m really intrigued by their Texas eye jig head. I keep saying I’ll pick some up but I haven’t done it yet.

I picked up some of the “trout eye” ones at county station in Broussard, their proud of them @ $2 a piece
I’ve only fished with them once
but solid craftsmanship, would buy again

I live in lafayette. Good to know they are at the country store. Btw that price is bc the country store jacks everything up no matter what it is.

Looks like a Goldeneye jighead...maybe a hair bigger...to me.

Never tried them but a fishing buddy made me a believer years ago b comparing strikes on a yellow eyed mirrolure vs a red eyed one in the surf. Predator fish always go after weak or crippled prey first. If you look at a shad or mullet that has been stunned by a cast net weight, prop wash, porpoise, etc.,their eyes are always blood shot.

That would’ve been great Wednesday when I broke off six times fishing rock. Just another gimmick to catch humans and it works.

Yeah, I snag on Oysters and rocks far too often to use $2 jig heads. Look good though.

Will it hold Gulp though? I switched to Deathgrips a while back because of this.
