Exercised my 2nd Amendment Rights today...

Cabellas had this gun marked down from $799 to $599. Apparently Bass Pro is having a licensing issue with Savage is what I was told
PSA!!!! And because of this they have a lot of Savage stock on clearence!!!! This gun came with the Blackhawk foregrip and stock, and a Axion grip and 1 p-mag. I robbed a magpul grip and cheap Barska scope off of (now the boys) M&P 15-22 I dealt with Blake over there. Very easy to deal with, very straight forward. Answered all my questions and before I even brought up looking at the gun he spent some time with me trying to locate a cheek rest.

Cardinal Forge mark on the upper receiver. I wonder if the lower matches or is sourced from somebody else. Cardinal is good though; Colt, Stag, RRA, DSA, and apparently Savage have used them.

Curious exactly what do you do with a gun like this? Target shoot... beer cans. ?

It's the most modular and versatile platform and can be used for really any reason. A better question would be what he can't use it for.

Well yeah, we target shoot. But instead of beer cans we shoot the $1 Shasta 2 liters. The boys like watching them explode.
I bought this one to kill hogs, coyotes, maybe a deer. Oh and theives if it comes to it.
