Can you even get to beach anymore at Fourchon? They had road shut down at bridge for a long time after spill. But before BP it was park and walk.

I don't believe so, I remember seeing an article a while back saying they considered anyone even on the beach in Fourchon to be trespassing. As in, you couldn't anchor your boat and get on the beach.

It's a huge berm that they are building. I've driven on it and it is levee-like

When they were doing the restoration, that was the case. Now that it's over with, they don't mess with people doing that. There is a crew that go anchor and access the beach parking their boats in Belle Pass to keep them protected from rogue crew boat waves.

Also all that trash that's been showing up on GI beach will likely continue with Elmers not allowing vehicles. Much shorter walk on GI.

Jpso ought to go out there and start writing litter tickets. Would require them to get out of their car and do some policing though so we will see.
