Really old. Was really sick. Had a very full life. WWII vet and avid outdoorsman even into his 80's. We used to talk fishing all the time when I worked for him.

Worked my first 8 years at his firm. His son was a partner too, and I used to hunt with the son some. Not sure I would really call the old man a friend. The son? Yes.

Reminded me a lot of my dad. They were close in age and ended up being similar adults even though their upbringing could not have been more different.

I hate to see those old guys go. Grew up listening to a bunch of them at my camp every evening. Only 2 or 3 of em still come around and the rest have either died or just don't have it in them anymore. I could sit down and listen to those stories until the sun came up.

I'm not much of an izzo's fan.

I went in the clusterfrick that is the union for lunch. It'll be awesome when these freshman learn they can skip classes.
