Fourchon report: few trouts, spec/white, few reds some too small one too big, stingray. All in all, better than being in the office.

It was pretty windy as it warmed up and choppy too

Fished a tournament on Blind river today with my brother. We ended up with 5.05 lbs, 4th place, missed 3rd place (and a check) by a pound. My bro caught a 2.35, 2nd biggest in the tourney he missed big bass by .8 lbs. All in all a good day, better than I thought we'd do

We went to Henderson Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. Apparently everyone else had the same idea. LOL...Very windy but caught only one 12 inch bass on a plastic worm. Another boat told us they caught a 12 inch bass and one crappie. My wife fished with shiners and couldn't pay the fish to show any interest in the shiners. Would have liked to caught more fish, but it was still a great evening out on the water.

Caught one fish yesterday... But being out where my grandfather and I used to fish on the anniversary of his death meant more to me than can be explained.

Fishing can be a powerful thing.
