There’s a lot up here. Should be a pretty good year for duck hunting

Glad to hear y'all had a productive day yesterday and hopefully today was successful as well. I was actually in Lake Charles this weekend for work and could've hunted with y'all this morning, buy I didn't realize my dad was going to the camp this weekend. Hopefully, I can make at least one hunt this year, maybe I'll see you out there.

Shot 6 this morning... It was a lot slower like it always is the second day.

Still always a good time.

I think we were victim of a strong east wind. Water was ridiculously high and the thick gray ducks and teal turned into scaup. We destroyed the divers this weekend

SELA. 3x limit Saturday then 2x limit Sunday. Greys, wigeon, and a teal on Saturday, then greys and a teal on Sunday. Big ducks were thicker and more cooperative on Saturday than Sunday. Conditions in the marsh were awful on Sunday. We were in thigh deep water in 20kt winds.

I saw more dos gris than I've ever seen in my life both Saturday and Sunday. Overall I'd give the weekend an above average as far as general numbers go. Without all the divers, I'd call it average.
