Yea thats a decent project, get in touch with DU or DW and they will send someone out to give you some advice on the Duck hole. One thing though, they will want you to make a deep ditch in it, dont fricking do it. Keep it to where it will only be 3ft at its deepest area unless you want to have to pump the bitch out. Also if you designate it to WRP you may be able to get a lot of funding for it.

Heard not to involve DU as they might make me meet some of their requirements..thanks for the ditch issue comment. The MS duck guy was very helpful, and I already trust him as we have mutual friends. Sorry, but what is WRP?

Wetlands Restoration project and yea the more I am thinking about it the more I remember how much DU was a pain. Also may have to adhere to some requirement for the WRP thing but its worth checking into. Its been about 3 years since I messed with one so I am a lil hazy.

Really the drainage system is the hardest part and its not that bad, just have to make sure you dont end up flooding some else land out.

No problem and good luck, with it being your land it should be super rewarding, the best part about the whole think imho.

Dream jobs in the outdoors?
No. That gets old fast, especially if you have clients that don't know wtf they are doing

And it quickly gets to be much more than a chore
