He has a Cat D5 and knows what he’s doing. I’ve been using him for going on 10 years. Top notch fella.
He is in Meadville near Lake Okhissa. His company is called Hilltop outfitters.

You are welcome. If you can’t get him at the number post it and I’ll post the other one.

We've used Johnny Longmire several times. I'm sure pdubya's heard of him as well.

No complaints.

Tim Toler has a good reputation also. He is one of the many Toler’s up this way.

We used a Mr Longmire years ago that was from Crosby. I think that man has passed away though.

Not an outlaw, but I have a Louisiana license plate on my truck, which made him go out of his way to make my life hell.

Gotcha...i never dealt with him in that capacity. He’s always been nothing but nice to me and my family. He’s done what he said he was gonna do which is a lot better than most.

Sorry for the highjack but what would you recommend between a dozer and a mulched to make a food plot the size of a basketball court in sparse hardwoods? The guy is trying to get me to use his mulched, as it’s allegedly better than a dozer but it’s also 3 times as expensive per hour.

I’ve never had a mulcher on my place. I can see the benefits for smaller stuff. Also, the only thing left with a mulcher is mulch. With a dozer, depending on the operator, you may have roots, sticks, etc still left to pick up. You will also have rotting piles of trees, stumps etc.
Another plus with a mulcher is your topsoil should remain. That doesn’t always happen with a dozer.
If it’s small stuff the mulcher maybe the better option. Do you have a tractor with a grader box to remove the chips so you can disk and plant?
