Majority of seeds aren't fully mature in goatweed until late September/early October. Some will be mature now but I would let it ride until second split.

I was able to spray one dry week.

Then chopped in water.

Then planted when it was mud.

Just ran the 4 wheeler over to cover.

Jap millet came up great that way.

That's what I do. We hunt opening weekend just to do some shooting, and then watch it. If you get that first cool snap and it starts dropping seeds they'll be there. Plus the hunting is a more comfortable temperature.

Got about 2/3 of our fields disked before taking a shed to the tractor tire. Wasn't planning on going back down until the dove opener but I guess we'll have to.



The doves are already getting thick down there, hopefully its another slaughter like the past couple years.
