I have fed my dog(colored lab) almost every dog food under the sun. I have tried every expensive foods and half of the Winn-Dixie brands.

By far the best ones were EVO Red Meat and Orijen. EVO was ridiculously good for his coat. People were constantly saying how nice and soft it felt. I would see a difference in his coat within a week or two after switching to EVO. You have to exercise the shite out of them on EVO, or they will get fat with the quickness.

Orijen is a happy medium for me. Good coat, not a lot of shedding, allows him to maintain weight and still have more energy than most dogs half as old as him

I feed my puppy Taste of the Wild High Prairie Puppy Formula. As has been said before, I paid a lot for the little bitch, and dammit if she isn't going to be the prettiest, healthiest boykin spaniel in the world. She just made 4 months and I have had her since she is 6 weeks. I am just about to have to buy another bag. $45 every 12 weeks is something I can deal with.
