I do, but I have also had hand and shoulder surgery. Tried shooting a vertical bow left handed but just couldn't get as proficient with it as I would like.
Yes, a crossbow is waaay easier to shoot than a vertical bow. I could easily kill deer out to 60 yds with mine.

I just got a Horton bone collecter. This is my first experience with a crossbow. I probably won't use it this year, but will next year. I have tendinitis in my wrist and have messed up my rotator cuff in the past. I tried a compound, can't hold it long enough to be consistent, don't think it would be ethical for me to go our there like that.
