did you mean the m7 is tiny?
yea.

I would go with the assault if I did it again because the m7 weighs about the same and the hub system gets old if you're trying to be mobile.

ok thanks for the info.

The cam sysytem is a bit of a pain on the milleniums but i modified mine so its pretty quick and easy now. They have so much you can do to be quicker and quieter.

I switch from the 100u to the assault. It’s a lot lighter and shorter for my stature. Plus it feels more sturdy to me. The mount on the 100u was aggravating to set up when you move every time you hunt.

I didn't use it to install them. My sticks will stay in the same spot for a month or two.

My current setup is an M100U with LW sticks...

If I had to buy that one again I would have gotten the M7 also. I have changed over to the rope mod on my LW sticks which is so much better than the straps. I "can" walk around a lot with this setup and get into most trees with it. I would just rather go lighter and quieter with the saddle setup.

I am switching to an Aero Hunter Kestrel Flex this season with the Ridge Runner platform. With 1 LW stick I will be going from about 23 lbs down to 5-6 lbs for my climbing and stand gear. I still have my bow and hunting pack to lug around as well.

Not sure If i want to leave my LW sticks in tact or cut one of them down and modify it. I may just order 1 single Hawk Helium stick to try out.
