Agree on the TM. Now if I could get double 15’ power poles to lock me down I’d catch ‘em all.

Looking for ideas on constructing a metal pole rather than using pvc. Maybe by using galvanized pipe or metal conduit. PVC only as a last resort. Anyone here ever made their own metal livescope pole, or if made with pvc then how did you strengthen it to keep it from bending when trolling or in current? TIA

I have a video on Youtube of our tranducer setup, using an old troll motor on my buddies boat. Then we installed it on my boat and we ran 2 livescopes for a while, one on each side of the boat. But fishing tournaments it is not efficient using 2, so it is no longer used. But it does work good. If interested "Louisiana Crappie Brothers" on Youtube. I'm not good with videos, very amateurish.
