I've been on one offshore trip in my life. I was young and barely remember it. I'd like to go again one of these days.

I've done 150' a few times but that's it. The guys Jackson and David he mentions in there are the ones I dive with a lot. They were in the LSU club but theyre He'll Divers now.

I am friends with the youngest Henry brother. His dad started the dive shop in Houma and all those guys think nothing of dropping down close to 200' with recreational gear to stick a monster fish.

Yeah I haven't gotten the ball to do that yet but I've watched some guys go down to 200 nail a big lemon and then come up to 60-80' and reload. All within 2 minutes max

Yeah bounce diving like they do can be dangerous. You don't have much time at all down there unless you want to start doing some decompression stops. If it ain't around 60-80 feet down I don't need to shoot it IMO. I tend to be conservative when it comes to diving. Deepest I have been is 115' while diving the Spiegle Grove in Key Largo. Also went to 110' on a wall dive in Cozumel.

I have about 2 friends, plus me with bass boats, one with a bay boat, so I'm usually the one bringing instead of taggging along.
