I just want to see a better picture. They are pretty rare. It's more likely to be a misidentified bobcat than a cougar. Looking at the picture again though it doesn't really look like a bobcat.

Which is why I said I wasn't directing it at you. I agree with you, and I've seen plenty of people call a bobcat a cougar because they thought it was too big to be a bobcat. People see what they want to see. Everything looks bigger in the woods.

there have been reports of a mountain cougar in a park near san marcos texas. multiple reports including police.
