On the 18th I put one of these on a whim, deer were on it by the 20th.

If its dry ground, they hit it pretty hard and it goes fast. if it gets a wet, it soaks into the ground and they will dig a hole a foot deep to get at it. Most mineral licks are like this, but the smell from this one is super strong. There are videos on YT comparing all these, and this seems to be one of the best. I've been using it for the last 3 years. Just put some out today for this weekend.

It's a powder with small bits of corn in it.

This was a great deal at about $20 for that 30 pound block. I used this in the Summer to help figure out what deer was behind the house. They loved it. Now, the raccoons did also!

Another thing, it seems like bucks hit the block more than corn.
