What are the best options for cameras such as these? Price per month? Options?

Are you able to link more than one camera to your Spartan for the $8?

Do you get like 100 pictures a day? How to you manage all the pics coming in?

1) don’t get a 3G camera. Verizon is discontinuing service at the end of the year and ATT follows in 2022.
2) the best camera still won’t work out of the box in poor cell coverage. You need 3 bars on your cellphone where you set the camera to get reliable coverage with stock antenna. They do sell antenna extensions that will help in poor signal area. ($30-$100 for antenna boosters. See think LINK for a good overview of antenna options.
3) find a company that allows you to share multiple cameras on one data plan. Paying $10/month per camera is a waste because usually you never get close to running out of data.
4) I’ve tried Spartan 3G and Snyper 3G cameras. Snyper is more reliable and gets better signal.

Well you don't have much use for them then, not every hunter has property that good, so they use the cameras to try and see where the deer are typically at on their property

I have several Spypoints. They have different packages for number of pictures per month that are pretty reasonable. Basically you can manipulate the time between pics and what days it takes to manage number of pics.

That being said, Spypoint's customer service has been awful for a few months. I'd shy away from them until they get it straight.

I have a moultrie mobile modem connected to a p180i camera. $10 a month for 850 pics. Cannot add additional cameras.

Dad has 3 covert code black cameras. $15 a month for 1000 pics shared between 3 cameras.

Both work just fine.

It is the same rationale, if you are going you are going, why ask?

Cameras are a ball, I love to pull the cards on the way out, I will look at them while waiting on daylight.

I have 4 cameras,I enjoy them just for seeing what’s out there.Coyotes foxes, bobcats, various deer.Last 3 summers I’ve gotten pictures of 2 different piebald does but never saw them while hunting or even gotten pictures of them during the season.I’ve killed a few bucks I had pictures of but have probably killed more that I never got picture of.

Use the search function if you can. I started a cuddeback thread last week and there was another thread on cell camera usage the week before that was very helpful as well.

Im about to pull the trigger on the cuddeback dual package FYI

Cuddebacks get some good reviews, lots of bad ones.Browning gets lots of good reviews.
Personally l like RECONYX but I don’t have to worry about them getting stolen.Only camera made in USA,batteries last 10-12,000 pictures and they stand behind them.
New camera HYPERFIRE 2 takes great pictures, videos and has 5 year warranty.
$400.00 but if I had to worry about it getting stolen I wouldn’t spend that much.

Thanks for the tip. I’ve been google searching trail cams and game cams and didn’t come across those. Kind of is the decision maker for me. I’m gonna grab a set and I’ll report back in a month or so.
