Try walking that marina with all your luggage because a festival had all of downtown shutdown and your private shuttle couldn't get to your condo without you missing your flight lol. That sucked. But yeah the marina is easy walking (minus the hawkers selling crap)

I think pedgral was on the cliffs above us. They looked really nice. Our condo was old but remodeled. It was nice for what it was.

Yeah, I looked it up on google. Holy hell, that is a giant marina. I was just looking on kayak, looks like a lot of the rooms are already booked up too. I think it said 80% of rooms were booked. That may have just been places that fit my criteria though.

yeah, only negative to Pedragal was the fact that it was halfway up the mountain, and made walking anywhere (at least home, up the mountain) less desirable. Had to cab most places, but guard shack got cabs in 5 mins whenever we needed, and $20 wherever we needed to go.

I have been twice and stayed and fished at the same place helment head has. I went in February this year and it was pretty slow, but a good time isn't hard to find. I like the mango deck in the afternoon or the usual suspects bar in the marina. It's right on the corner so you can have a cocktail and watch all the boats come in. If you are looking to go out in the evening the nowhere bar is top notch.

If you want to go to Costa Rica instead of Cabo I'll go and I have no clue who you are.

What's the cost to go to Costa Rica? I don't really care where we go, I am just looking for an adventure.

About the same, but I enjoyed the hell out of Costa Rica I just got back a couple weeks ago.

If you're serious, that might be something that could be worked out.

Do you have any links for Costa Rica? Who to fish with and where to fly into and stay? I think we may be down for it if the money is the same.

We stayed at the coco palms hotels in playa del coco. You can Google it I got the hookup on the fishing. You fly into Liberia it's about 30 minutes from the place you stay.

We have gone once a year since 2008 i think. Always use redrum. They are phenominal and prices very fair for the service. They will run extra if the fish are far out. Others are content to troll from the arch to lighthouse all day.

We have stayec at riu's, dreams, and purblo bonito rose. I liked the rose- non all inclusive best. Walk to marina isnt bad.

Post fishing mango cantina nxt to redrum office makes badass ceviche with your fish. Big cold strong margaritas too. We usually stay there from 3p till almost dark.

Have fun!!

Venture,

If you're up for making the trip, let's get it set up. Whodat still hasn't gotten permission, but he says he'll be able to go.

Looks like some of the different fishing calendars show different prime times. Some show October, but some don't. Looks like December/January is highly rated over all the calendars.

we are booked on February 21st with Maverick Sportfishing out of Los Suenos. It is the same boat that 318 and his krewe absolutely smoked them on this past year. We are actually fishing the day before the 3rd leg of the triple crown starts so it should be on fire.
