I regret to inform you that all the OB reps who attended today's class shot well -- even the dude with the XD (I'll not embarrass his OB "sponsor" by mentioning his name).

The lady who brought her 9mm Shield (I'll not embarrass the OB member who conned her into attending) shot very well (although we did have to wake her every hour or so).

I think dawg will poke fun if you show up with a SCCY CPX-2 or a Beretta Nano.

Dawg prefers single shot derringers in his class.

In a .22?

What about my Judge with .410 ammo? I know if I load buckshot I can hit the target 1 our of 10 times. Is that good enough?

Whoever she belongs to, she is probably working on her flinching/anticipation right now. She also probably needs to shoot a couple hundred more rounds through her gun to loosen it up

It would be worth whipping one out at a class, just to see his face...

I've got her doing the drill with the empty casing on the front sight right now. Didn't move when I demonstrated it, and she has been at it for 30 minutes trying to keep the thing up there

He let me shoot a 1911 but I felt like he spent a little extra time explaining why 9mm was better for carry than a 45.

I carry 9mm now so i guess he got the last laugh but i refuse to listen to his block propaganda.

Have had one guy bring a Hi-Pernt had another guy bring a Nano.

Both weapons made it through the 36 round endurance test (both times).

The person to whom Hammertime is referring did very well with her Shield. Her flinch wasn't real bad -- but I did tell her that flinches tend to get worse if untreated.

It's not too often that a woman will show up for class by herself. Most show up with a SO, or a friend, or in a group (e.g. from work). She gets high marks for self-confidence and for shooting.

ETA: She also asked some very good questions. She's sharp - Hammertime need to hang on that one.

That's awesome. I'm glad the class was a success. I've always heard good things.
