How the hell am I going to carry a 3" GP100?
You've really got a lot of options for IWB and outside the waistband (OWB) carry. I've pocket carried a 2" barrel airweight snubbie before, but I don't think it would work well w/ the heavier 3" barreled GP100. OWB doesn't get as much attention as IWB and that's understandable. When most folks start to cc, they're VERY concerned about about busted and that's not necessarily a bad thing; I've been the same way. Consequently, IWB gets a lot more attention. Having said that, I'll soon be getting my first OWB holster for cc.
If you're interested in IWB, I'd look at a "tuckable" holster in case you need to tuck your shirt. OTOH, a "tuckable" holster works just as well untucked. I find myself leaving my "tuckable" holsters untucked more and more. As far as my personal experience, I've been pleased by my holsters from Side Guard ("Tuck Clip") and R. Grizzle Leather ("Southern Sidekick"). The hybrid holsters (leather+kydex) are very popular, but I prefer leather. If you decide to go OWB, look at a "pancake" type holster or possibly a "easy removable snap" holster. You'll find examples of both at this OWB link. There are a few holsters that are made to be converted back and forth from IWB to OWB.

You will be surprised how large of a gun you can conceal.
I carry a Glock 17 throughout the day and switch to a Glock 27 for Undercover deals. I use the same Uncle Mike holster.
Again in my experience, the below method is the best way to carry.

I'm glad all you guys carry.
Ive never seriously considered it, for a number of reasons, but the inconvenience being a primary one.
Keeping up with a phone, keys, and whatever else I'm carrying is often a challenge.
