Pretty much any shop that sells guns will have a Shield. It's probably the most popular CC gun

I'm trying to decide right now between the Sig P938 and the Glock 26 Gen 4.

I'm leaning towards the Glock right now but I still might get the Sig.

Why these two? They are in different size categories.

The 938 vs. the G43 makes a little more sense to compare.

I have the S&W Shield in 9. Dad carries the .40 but we both prefer the 9.

It does have a safety which I would use. This makes me feel a little better about it.

They are pretty close in size.

Sig P938
Length= 5.9 in
Height= 3.9 in
Width= 1.1 in
Weight= 16 oz

Glock 26 Gen 4
Length= 6.41 in
Height= 4.1 in
Width= 1.1 in
Weight= 21.1 oz

I thought about the Glock 43 but I don't like the fact it only holds 7 rounds and is basically the same size as the 26 which holds 10 rounds.

Glock 43
Length= 6.26
Height= 4.25
Width= 1.02
Weight= 17.95 oz

I'll think about the Glock 43 and M&P Shield. I just need to shoot these guns at the range.

I think thw LC9S might be my favorite. Huge improvement over the original LC9.

This.....I switched my wife from an LC9 to LC9s and the upgrade was tremendous!

I'm looking into this because my wife had issues with LC9... what about the upgrade/switch was better? My wife didn't care for the recoil so much. Just curious if it would be worth me looking into it for her.

Personally I rock the S&W j frame 5 shot .38+P. Got a nifty grip that has a clip so there is no holster required.

No change in recoil, gun weighs the same. Just a much lighter, more crisp trigger than the long double action pull of the LC9. Much easier to shoot well IMO.

I really like my Springfield Armory XD mod2 with the 3" barrel.

That's what I've been looking at. Is the double stack a deal breaker?

I carry mine everyday everywhere ( I can...) and I love it. However, I do not carry at the waist.

I am an ankle carry kinda guy.
