The Little General/Special Envoy to Greenland has 700,000+ reasons as to why he’s going to veto any bill unfavorable to his foreign benefactors.

Our best bet might be to start challenging the environmental permits for the processing plants. If a refinery was putting off odors like they do, they would be shutdown. No place to process them, no market. Except for the alligator farmers on the WLF Commission that got paid off in pogies (including the chair).

This state is so corrupt. All of our politicians are for sale, you just have to negotiate a price.

Great work to everyone involved in this so far. If you sent an email or spoke to a legislator on the committee, it made a difference. I spoke to my rep who happens to be on the NRC and he said that he is in a tough spot because he had heard from many of his constituents on this issue to vote for these bills - but also getting pressured hard from the pogie boats. He ended up voting for all 4 today. Prior to today he was on the fence especially on the 22' buffer bill, the most challenging of the bills, HB855.

CCA, TRCP, ASGA and several individuals and charter captains got up there to speak to why we need regulations on the harvest of menhaden and did a great job. Without people making this effort, it's very easy for the legislators to vote no on these bills so it all made a difference.

Great work indeed. I was surprised to see four of the five bills move through committee. The effort is far from over—there will need to be increased awareness, stronger support, and a more vocal public presence with elected officials.

They don’t feed pogies in the gator farms anymore. In fact that practice stopped nearly 20 years ago.

I think it's been said but worth repeating. This is only the 1st step to getting it passed. People need to show up and/or comment when it's on the house floor, with the senate, and everytime it comes up for discussion.
