Jesus Christ the semantics. So the boat I frequent in makes 1mpg light and .7 full load and it’s only 32’ long. To be getting those numbers in a 43’ boat and a 12’ beam is absurd.
Jump out my arse dickhead.

Well you went from getting 1.5 to getting nearly half that
Look freeman's are cool and all, but I swear some people think they cure cancer.
They also eat lowers like candy
That's not very good for a boat that size.

I’m sorry I misremembered another size stats which are unbelievable stats.
And I agree the boat needs another motor

I'm mainly just busting your balls. People just constantly say "you can get 1.4mpg in 6ft seas doing 50mph and not spilling beer"
That being said I'd love to own one, because I wouldn't be too concerned with fuel costs if I did.
34VH is an excellent boat as well. Most practical boat Freeman puts out IMO

The problem with numbers these manufacturers put up is they’re not real world numbers 99% of the time, especially for off the LA coast. We run longer and much heavier than just about anywhere else. Fwiw I’ve never heard of anyone getting better than .7-.8 loaded on a 42 freeman.

Not to get back on topic from your detour, but does anyone know why everyone in those pictures are young? It almost looks like some sort of training class or something? I would just expect a fiberglass/ boat company to have a bunch of redneck 40-60 year old guys and all of them look to be 20-35 at most?

You're kidding right?
I didn't think it could get any worse than people arguing over performance numbers of boats they don't even own. I guess I was wrong.
