Does anyone have any idea how in the hell something like that happens? Or how to fix it?
It is not an expensive scope or anything and as it is just mounted on a little 22 that I have but I'd still like to get it right. Whats odd...is that sucker is dead on!
Its ugly to look at and I wish I could figure out how to get it right. By the its not turned in the mount or anything because the scope adjustments are pointing straight up and straight to the right...

Prism or the cross hairs themselves are broke loose. You'd have to return it to the factory for them to fix it, or just trash it and buy a new one if it was cheap, or just shoot it like that if it is indeed "dead on" as you say.

Dang...I was hoping there would be a way to twist, turn, unscrew, or tinker with something to get it right again..
it doesnt wobble or move or anything it just seems to be twisted. I havent messed with trying to zero it in because when I shot it, it was right on. But I wonder if "up" is actually "up-left" and "right" is not "down-right" ?
I'll probably just trash it and get a new one..thanks for the info

Or you could pull a Chad and take it back to Academy to exchange for a new one
