For those of you who fish Grand Isle, and know Captain Danny Wray, I just saw a post on the Friends of Grand Isle Facebook page that Danny's wife, Kristen, passed away early this morning. She had battled cancer for a while, so please keep Danny and family in your prayers.

So sad, Danny is one of my dads good friends. he used to live down the road from us so I grew up around Mr. Danny and her. such good people, hate to hear this.

Man, that sucks.

I used to work for Danny back before he became a captain and he used to be a regular at the bar where I worked.

I never met his wife (that I recall), but he was good people.
