I stopped in Davis P&G in Baker one day and they had a 3" model 65 ladysmith in great condition. They were asking $425. I started to walk out and he stopped me and said he would take $400 cash. Kept the gun 6 months and sold it for $650. The guy had no idea what he had.

Yes

You'd be amazed what kind of finds I've got from pawn stores.

Never pay asking price though. They always price those things above what they would take for them. You can talk em down to a really good deal.

I have several that I have bought from pawn shops over the years. And just about all were very good deals.

I type or at least peck on eye pad, when I write, it rubs off.

I find it usually helps to make the text that you want to copy/paste larger.

I've bought 3 guns used at pawn stores, a SxS 20 gauge, S&W 686 prelock, and a 870 youth, all about half price of a new gun.

The old guy that deals with their guns is a Jew...worst guy to deal with. I'd rather pay over inflated prices at Jims than deal with that guy.

I get most of my guns from pawn shops and the used section at Simmons.

Both will negotiate.

BONUS ALERT:
You get to stare at Lindsay when you get one at simmons.

Exactly. Sure they will deal off asking price, but you're really not going to find great smoking deals

Yes but they do not test fire what they sell. They sell as is so buyer beware. I became friends with a Pawn Shop owner and he would oft tell me if I was not happy, i could bring it back for another or cash back. I am a lucky guy in this regard.
