Cabela's gun sale

When does Cabela's (or any other gun dealer) usually do a pretty big gun sale? Looking to buy a new shotgun this year for my son (he's 13) and was going to try to get him a Beretta or Benelli, but wanted to get it at the right time...TIA

Get him an old beat up mossberg so he'll learn to take care of his stuff. I wish my dad would have given me a top notch gun at that age.

Cabela's hardly ever puts the SBE's and Eureka's on sale. They sale too fast at normal price. Periodically I get a $100 off a $500 purchase coupon from Cabela's. That would probably be the best offer.
Or just go to Academy. Their normal price is probably lower than most other's sales price.

another good option is to go on tax free holiday, but you have to get there like right when they open. You have to take a number for the gun counter.
