I am looking for a good site (or maybe store) to buy bulk (and cheap) shotshell for skeet. I can assure you that I am not hoarding, but in fact shooting these.

Wal-mart 100 packs of Federal or Winchester 12 ga. 2 3/4 1 oz 7 1/2's or 8's for $20.47 are tough to beat and store neatly in the 4 box long brick.

Academy has Estates by the case for $49.99. Same shells as described above...

How much shooting are you doing, how many shells? Quality shells or any cheap dove loads?

I am shooting probably 8ish rounds of skeet a week (200 shells)

Right now I am not very good, so cheap is much better for me, no reason to get the high brass yet.

Is this online? Or is this somewhere in store, I have never seen the cases when I go in, just the 25 boxes.

In store. You may have to ask a guy at the gun counter...

I find better shotgun shell deals local than on-line. They're so heavy shipping usually eats you alive on most on-line deals.

I just left Simon's Sporting Goods and Bastrop and they have a ton of 12 & 20 Federal heavy dove loads for $4.99 box. With the tight supply on other ammo I would expect to see the cost of primers and powder to push the cost up on shells for next year...

BEFORE the ammo craze, academy had cases on bird shot for like 5 bucks a box.

I shot Estates this year during dove season because my uncle gave me a case. They actually were pretty good. I think they will be my go to shells when I can find them cheap.
