A Wilson upper definitely warrants a $quality$ optic.

did more research last night. for the price and reviews of scope, not sure if there's much better out there without near tripling the price point.

I've had that one too. Good scope but doesn't have side parallax adjustment like the Bushnell.

SWFA fixed 10 will have much better glass and turrets. It shouldn't be too much more expensive than that. Honestly, you can never go wrong with spending more on glass.

why would i want a fixed power scope? severely limits the applications imo. maybe i'm a dummy though.

Kinda. 10X is great for targets and stuff though. Even for hunting it works fine. Idk what you are using the AR10 for though.

can someone further explain having the side parallax adjustment and the nikon with having this note: 100-yard Parallax Setting-Eliminates parallax for precise shooting.

Basically, it's when the reticle of the scope is not lined up with the image of the target. If you do not have your eyes set perfectly in the middle of the scope, it looks like your crosshairs are moving on the target. You want your scope to be as close to the top example as possible.

Out to 100 yards, it really doesn't make that much difference, but what's the point of having a 600 yard BDC scope if you're only going to shoot a hundred yards? This link explains it better than I can.

Tell the wife it's my fault. I'll take the blame.

I'm already shopping for an offset scope mount. My set up with standard rings works, but it could be even farther forward.

Looking for something like this...

I have a couple of the Burris AR-PEPR and have been very impressed with them.

I take that back, I have one of them. It's on my .300 blk.

I have 2 set of Burris extreme rings
