With our current situation of possible ban, what is the top dollar you would pay for this riffle? I know you could get them for around 700.00 not too long ago.

Not a fan and I owned a Bushmaster before that boating accident.
But at this point?
Buy it as cheap as possible and just count yourself lucky.

My brother bought one on a whim last week at cabelas since it was all they had in stock.
The things that I saw were obviously the polymer upper and lower receivers. The rear takedown pinhole is not drilled to spec, and looks like the barrel nut threads are a little bigger than standard. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

If thats your only option, go for it. It would not be my first choice though.

Great gun for playing around with and is very light. I had one that had cycled many hundreds of rounds without incident.
