Anyone have any idea what this could be? It started this problem where it’ll turn over but won’t fire. Sometimes it will crank and ride 5-10 minutes then just die on me and never start back up. I’ve checked all wires and connections and they are fine. Control module shorting out maybe? Has to be electrical

You need new plugs.

The 750 needs to be run at high rpm fairly frequently or they foul out.

Ok I bought it used on the cheap knowing it had this issue. Friend of mine who isn’t mechanically sound and needed the money I figured I could fix it myself and have a solid machine.

I didn’t think about trying the plugs my mind was on it being electrical since when it does crank it runs great but then just dies. Doesn’t sputter or anything it’s like you cut the key off

Yeah on any fuel injected Kawasaki if ot starts to ever run weird, think plugs then anything else.

They are all real Jap bikes, so unless you get mice, real electrical issues are rare.

Spark plugs were not the problem I changed them and it still won’t fire just turns over. It won’t hit on ether or anything

If ether is not allowing it to start, then it probably isn't fuel issues. You may be right, something electrical. Stupid question, but I've been guilty of this, you wouldn't happen to have the kill switch tripped huh?

See if youre getting fore to each plug.

If no:

Proceed to rollover sensor and bus plug.

Suspect ........mice

I haven’t found any frayed or faulty wires.

I am not getting fire to the plugs I actually just came to post that.

Where are those sensors located? It’s a 2016 year model

Under the seat (disregard the large red wire not connected that’s just the winch

I’m guessing this is the ECU I took it loose and checked connectors

I dunno what this junction box is for under the front right fender

No I checked kill switch. Learned that lesson years ago when my boat quit and I proceeded to disassemble the engine for 2 hours in middle of the lake before realizing my elbow hit the kill switch on accident

I would look online for a service manual. It’ll have wiring diagrams, sensor locations, and testing methods.

I have a ‘new to me’ 2015 Brute Force. Haven’t had a need for the service manual but I’ll look tonight.

Also, check out Brute Central. It’s a good resource for Brute owners.

At Brute Central in the Brute Talk forum. Look on the second page of the ‘Places to get stuff’ thread. There’s a link to a 2012-14 Brute Force service manual. It should suffice as there were little changes from 14 to 16.
