Got jackets yesterday. Much lighter than I thought they would be. More like a wind breaker than anything. Still not bad considering they are Browning and look really nice

This is what kept me from purchasing. They looked light in the picture. I was looking for something with more insulation to wear on cold days like today. $50 for a windbreaker is a bit steep.

I bought the Windkill a few weeks back and the most recent run was Primaloft I think. The Windkill jacket I bought isnt something I'd wear for brutal cold but it was certainly much heavier than a wind breaker. For $30 I am well pleased...

Yeah, I was all excited when I bought them thinking I had gotten a great deal for Christmas presents. The wife hasn't stopped letting me hear about it. Anxious to see what the $18 field bags I bought from them will look like now

Well shite. They looked thick and warm on the website. I thought this would be a jacket-over-a-long-sleeve-shirt-and-be-warm on a day like today type of jacket. Mine comes in today. I may return it.

ETA - these things are $133 on the browning website - how can a wind breaker be that much$$$?

They aren't exactly a wind breaker. I may have exaggerated some. But they are not as thick as I originally thought. I'm still happy with the purchase for the most part. Just not as happy as I was when I purchased them

I got mine. It's meh. I'll still need multiple layers in cold weather.

We're a tough group. We expect National Championships every season and outerwear rated to withstand subarctic temperatures for $35 or less.

I told a coworker about this deal right after I placed the order for my vest. He got his today and I am disappointed as shite in what is coming for me. I am going to give this as a Christmas gift to someone in the family.
