I got the same thing. I can tell you that the thing about their shopping cart not being able to keep backorders past sixty days is a straight up lie.
This is yet another company that will never see another dime of my money and I will tell all my friends to to the same.

If you guys want steel mags, I link the ones from Bravo Co when they come in stock, they have the improved followers and are still under $20 a mag

This is how I replied to my cancellation email:

In this day and age, it would make sense to have a system that does not allow a customer to order a product when it is not in stock, or at least say on the order page that the item will be backordered. I'm not sticking up for them, but the mags you ordered were gen2 correct?
Well, when all hell broke loose those were sold and I assume no more were manufactured since they were already making gen3's. Maybe they thought they would get some more gen2's but it just didn't pan out since there was a crazy rush on them.
You're acting as if they cancelled your order and sold them to someone else, when it's more likely they just never existed.

DSG Arms sent me 30 Gen 2 mags after the "event"

Understandable concern and I understand you taking a unbiased position but here are the facts.
They are still making Gen2 mags.
Botachs website said they were in stock.
After bring told they were not in stock, they asked me to be patient and guaranteed that my order would be filled.
Got another email a few weeks ago asking if I still wanted to be on the back order list, I said yes.
Finally, I emailed them last week and offered to have my order upgraded to Gen3 mags for an additional cost if it would mean that I got them faster.
Today they canceled all back ordered Pmags Bevause of a 60 day rule. I ordered my mags 75 days ago. They are over 2 weeks late letting me know that my order was cancelled.
They are still making Gen2 mags.

I received 6 gen 2 mags from midwayUSA last week. So that is not the problem. What pisses me of is they sold the gen 2 three pack last month before fill the old orders

The sale was like 10 for $110, or something close. They can sell them for 30, 40, maybe $50 now. It was purely a greed move and a bitch move.
