Does anyone have this boat insurance? It is written by Gieco. I got a quote for my boat and it was $200 less than my State Farm policy with better coverage.

I use them. Haven't ever had to call, but I've got coverage.

State Farm was cheaper than boat US for me and my buddy. May want to make sure you are comparing apples to apples

Had this bookmarked, checked my records.

Have had Boat US insurance since 2003 when I first bought the boat. Up intil the 2016-2017 year, insurance was underwritten by National Liability & Fire Insurance Company. In 2017, Boat US sold to Geico. My annual premium went up 126% on a 14 year old boat with 0 claims history. To make matters worse, dealing with Geico has been a major clusterfrick. Even after paying the annual premium in full as I always have done, they continued to send me monthly bills. I have since dropped them and am now insured with State Farm at a significantly lower rate. Not a fan of Geico marine insurance.

Same deal with me. I had Boat US for many years with no rate I increases. At renewal a year or two ago, the premium doubled with no reason. I called and they wouldn’t budge.

I ended up covering through Liberty Mutual which has our home and auto policies. It ended up being the same as what I was paying Boat US in years prior.
