I fish the Biloxi Marsh almost every weekend out of BSL when weather allows. That time of year there's pretty good odds that it will be rough as frick and there won't be any water in the marsh. I'd plan your trip to somewhere in Louisiana where you don't have to run open water and risk sitting at your hotel for 3 days if the wind is blowing.

What kind of boat? As others have said depending on what you’re running in, it may be worth launching in Hopedale instead

I'd go to Golden Meadow and troll the marsh for reds. If it's calm you can catch specs in the bays

And it’s really not time of year to make that Westward turn chasing fish or really looking for protection or clean water in the Louisiana Marsh right now when you can limit out on bigger fish in Mississippi., Go South not West, launch right after bait shop opens, use live croakers (a ten dollar bottle of croaker saver is a good investment) or live shrimp under popping or preferably slip cork. Use flouracarbon. Fish are all along the beach, reefs and the islands. Watch out of massive schools of Gaff tops and lady fish if you go to islands. Look for birds and other boats . You will catch fish. Storms will probably run you off water by 2pm

Are you looking for a guide recommendation or a recommendation on where to fish?

I fish out of Hopedale basically all year round and have historically done well in November as long as you can get your boat in the marsh.

If you're looking for a guide out of Hopedale I would recommend captain Jakamo. I cant comment on guides out of Mississippi.

That's actually my favorite month to fish the Biloxi Marsh. That said, I usually do better earlier in the month when white shrimp are still running. If the weather's still warm-ish you should do well.

Also, I launch from Hopedale and my boat floats in heavy dew, so there's that

The real problem in the marsh, as I hear but do not know because I am not fishing that way, is finding clean water

Well then your fishing out of Waveland/BSL. Not Biloxi. Fishing will be good. Even if its bad weather they will take you to some close in structure and you will catch some meat.

Find a VRBO in BSL/Waveland. There should be plenty available as it is during the winter. Split between a few guys and it will be fairly cheap. BSL is a good spot to enjoy some drinks when you get off the water.

I fished Saturday for the first time this year out there and easily found clean water. It ain’t rocket science. I fished inside the marsh and was never more east than the lodge or west of picnic bayou. Now you’re probably right on fishing MS beaches with croakers... Big fish to be had. However, the fishing in the BM is much much better year round in my opinion.
