Yeah. SCOTUS sure came through on Obamacare didn't it? They decided that was legal too.

Yeah I know, it seems like a losing battle but its clear cut!

quote:

As passed by the Congress:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

As ratified by the States and authenticated by Thomas Jefferson, Secretary of State:
A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.[8]

the SCOTUS is to uphold the Constitution of the Untied States. This is word for word right there near the top!

The health care bill was left up to people interpreting. This shouldn't have to be that way

It infringes on the rights of Americans and it was up to the supreme court to decide it's legality. Maybe you shouldn't be in this thread if you don't want people even talking about this.

Do you consider forcing employers to pay for health insurance a tax?

It really doesn't matter. What amendment are you relying on?

I dont know enough about the healthcare bill to say one way or another, but the employers have been forced to pay alot of taxes over time, the healthcare costs are pretty closely aligned with some things the employer is already forced to play.

Not a real big leap to think these new HC costs would be interpreted as a tax.

In the link they talk about the prohibition of high cap mags. Wonder what kind of grandfathering if any the benevolent leader has in mind. It would be near impossible to regulate high cap mags since they do not have serial numbers and there are millions in circulation.
