As for ramrod not believing me, tough. The tires are 12% larger than stock and I have 59k and change on the set according to the odometer. Simple math... Above 65k.

Did you calibrate the truck for the increase in tire circumference?

MPG figures would be skewed if the trucks computer does not know that a mathematical input for the MPG calculation has changed.

I have Duratrax right now. About 50,000 miles so far. You will get more miles out of the light truck tires but they are stiffer so a little rougher riding And a little louder than the passenger tire. I have the passenger tires. You should get 50 to 60 k no problem with either the LT or P tires. The Duratrax have a more aggressive grip in my opinion. It is not a full mud tire but it has more grip than the ko’s and other all terrains. My two cents.

I bought general grabber atx recently and love them. Coming off a straight mud tire, so obviously the ride is substantially smoother and they do what I want them to on ice and fresh snow.

Even still your MPG drop is more related to the tire size change than anything else.

Yep. Pretty much what I said.

Depends more on change in sizing and weight but the difference in grip will matter a little.

The OP said nothing about changing tire size.

I was responding to the dude I quoted, not the OP. And no, weight is just about as important as tire size and when you switch to all terrains at even the same size, it will be heavier and affect mpg. Now gtfo with this BS when I am providing useful info to someone.

Had 2 sets of each.

Duratracs for me. Same on road performance and notably better off road performance on standing water and thick muddy trails I frequent.

I normally get about 90k out of a set of K02s. Lots of highway. If I were to change it would be to Nitto. Bought my current truck with Toyo open country and got 40% less life out of them than the K02
